# Genloop MCP

> Connect Genloop to Claude, Cursor, and other AI assistants as a verified data source using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for safe data queries.

Genloop supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which lets you connect Genloop as a verified data source for AI tools like Claude.

Once connected, any AI tool that supports MCP can query your data through Genloop — getting the same verified, context-aware answers your team gets in Chat.

## Setting up MCP

**On the platform**

Go to **Connections** and click the **MCP** tab. Click **Generate Token** to create a unique access token for your workspace. Copy this token — you will need it when connecting from your AI tool.

You can revoke and regenerate a new token at any time from the same page.

**In Claude**

Open Claude and find the Genloop option in the MCP integrations panel. Click it and follow the authorization flow. Once authorized, Claude can query your Genloop workspace directly.

<Note>
  MCP setup in Claude is currently in progress. If you run into any issues during setup, [talk to us](https://cal.com/ayush-genloop) and we will help you get connected.
