# Connect with Slack

> Install the Genloop Slack app to ask data questions in any channel, get verified answers inline, and share insights with your team without leaving Slack.

Connecting Genloop to Slack lets your team ask data questions directly from any Slack channel and get verified answers without leaving the conversation.

## Setting up the Slack integration

Go to **Connections** and click the **Interfaces** tab. Click **Connect** on the Slack option. This opens the Slack authorization page — approve the connection and Genloop is linked to your workspace.

Once connected, you can mention Genloop in any channel to ask a question. Answers come back in the thread with the same reasoning and verification as Chat.
